Job Description
Position Title: Video Editor (Full Time)
Purpose: To work on editing and post-production tasks such as cutting, trimming, splicing, sequencing footage, adding music, graphics, special effects, and other visual enhancements. The ideal candidate should have a passion for video editing, storytelling, and bringing stories to life through visual and audible media.
Responsibilities
- To work with a team of other video production professionals to create amazing videos that capture the essence of a brand or a message.
- To Edit video in a way that tells a story effectively and creatively
- To Add special effects and sound to enhance the final production value of the video
- To work with other team members to ensure the final product aligns with the creative vision of the project
- To ensure video and audio quality standards are met
- To Continually discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency
- To produce well researched video content with profound impact on the target audience on topics related to GATE, ESE, SSC, JE & other PSU or State Exams
- Maintain project databases and archives of completed work
- Create and maintain a positive and collaborative work environment
Competencies
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor
- Collaborative approach to meet deadlines
- Ability to work on multiple projects with different ideas
- Proficiency in video editing software like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Avid Media Composer
- Strong technical knowledge in video and audio formats, codecs, encoding, and transcoding
- Experience in scriptwriting, storyboard collaboration and creating engaging videos
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A professional portfolio showcasing your video editing skills and experience
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated, High Integrity, Independent & Outside the BOX thinker
Educational Qualifications
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Video production, film studies or related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications along with professional experience will be an added advantage.
